Bands I like...

Pete Kilpatrick -  Tremendous songwriter and honorary mayor of Portland, ME, Pete writes incredible tunes and I play keys and sax with him.

Ryan McCalmon -  Soulful voice and well constructed tunes.  I play keys with the band.

Cerulean City - Out of upstate NY, this trio's unique blend of jazz/jam/funk is starting to get some attention as they continue to tour nationally.

Superhoney - Dirty, dirty, dirty.. did I mention this band is dirty?

Averi - These guys write hooks that get in your head and stay there until you buy the CD. Click with caution..

Baby Strange - This band plays rock like you're supposed to. The tunes are like short stories and the albums tie them all together.

Fiasco - Great tunes. Period. Somewhere David Bowie is scratching his head thinking, "I should have thought of that".

VMF - You want grooves? Check. How about some rock? Check. How about some hip hop too? Yep. Go check them out.

JP3 - I met these guys while they were living Boston. Akira Nakamura is on kit and the music is an outstanding blend of electronic music and soul music.

The Jazz Journeymen -  Led by talented alto saxophonist Jeremy Vovcsko, this band will be on your radar soon if they are not already.

Musicians..

Frank Picarazzi - A phenomenal vibraphonist, drummer, composer, and arranger. Frank knows his baseball stats pretty good too.

Ryan Harris - Bass player and international man of mystery.

Amy Bowles - One of the most talented keyboard players you'll hear, Amy "Smokin'" Bowles has it all.

Charles Anastasio - A very versatile guitarist and overall talented guy, Chuck writes some incredible music arranged for solo guitar.

Justin Piper - One of the top guitar players in the area. Justin is as comfortable with an Ornette Coleman tune as he is with anything in the Slayer catelog.

John Aruda - Awesome Tenor Player and the only guy I know that manages to book a week's worth of gigs on some Carribean Island every winter.

Steve Giannaros - Talk about an intense Tenor player. Steve digs real deep when he plays and really has his own style that's special.

Carter Holland - Carter is an outstanding guitarist and really has a great feel for whatever genre he happens to be playing. Do yourself a favor and go check him out.
